Emerson Lloyd

Emerson has been dancing since the age of two and is currently on the mini competitive dance team at DanceWorks Performing Arts. She has training in ballet, jazz, acro, lyrical, hip hop and tap. She has competed with her award-winning team and duo for the past two years and this spring will compete her very first musical theater solo! Emerson also performed in her first Nutcracker this past December and loves being on the stage. She participated in Journey’s Musical Theater camp this past summer and looks forward to continuing her musical theater training. When she is not at the dance studio, Emerson loves playing the piano, drawing, writing stories and playing with her dog and brothers.

Emerson has been awarded Student of the Month at her dance studio multiple times because of her work ethic, positive attitude, and being a role model to others. She was chosen to participate in the Friendship Club at school because of her natural leadership and kind demeanor. She has a spunky and sunny personality and has consistently been praised by her teachers and coaches for being a good listener, responsible and flexible mindset. Emerson loves fashion and is happy to wear anything and try different clothing and hairstyles. Besides modeling, she has dreams of being a fashion designer, owning her own dance studio and starring on Broadway!
