Samuel Ekwa

Samuel Bassey Ekwa is a talented recording artist, singer/songwriter and music producer in the genres of Afrobeats, Dance Hall and Pop who goes by the stage name of Kokcii. His music resonates deeply with themes of strength, resilience, and the human spirit. He is Nigerian by birth from the southern state of Cross River; he emigrated to the United States almost 3 years ago. He is dedicated to his music career and his brand (Kokcii.com). Samuel has also acted in several music videos aired on Nigerian television and in a few short comedy skits.

In his youth, Samuel was a runner and soccer player; since coming to the Oregon, he is learning some basketball basics. A fitness and health enthusiast, Sam routinely goes to the gym and continues to run.
