Natalie Reyes

Natalie is currently pursuing a Master of Fine Arts degree in Dance at the University of Arizona, where she also serves as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and instructor. She previously earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Dance, graduating cum laude, with a minor in Legal Studies from the University of Oregon, and is also completing a Teaching in Dance Certificate. Her creative focus is on choreographing original classical ballet works that celebrate musicality, artistry, and contemporary relevance. Natalie studies and values many forms of dance and movement, including ballet, jazz, tap, modern, contemporary, African dance, hip-hop, salsa, pilates, and yoga. As an artist and educator, her goal is to help cultivate a more equitable, inclusive, and welcoming dance community. She is passionate about increasing representation in the arts and celebrating diversity across all forms of dance and music.

In her free time, Natalie enjoys spending time with her family, cuddling with her cat Whiskey, watching football, traveling, and volunteering with nonprofit organizations in the communities she calls home.
