Fun Facts about Kiele

Kiele has been involved in a variety of activities throughout the past years; however, theatre has always been her priority. She joined the theatrical world when she was 14 when she entered her highschool’s department, but has been known to make skits and perform them when she was younger. Her favorite production she has been a part of was a show called Puffs, a spin-off of the Harry Potter Series where she played Cedric Diggory. Kiele is able to create character choices with any script and any character she is given; from as small as a chorus member in The Music Man to Mrs. Banks in Mary Poppins, Kiele is able to take anything she’s given and create something unique and worth showing.

Alongside theater, Kiele has been involved in the Oregon Fairytale Project where she volunteers at events for children while dressed as Disney Princesses. This has refined her improvisational skills and given her a new outlook on the acting world. She has played princesses as classic as Snow White and as well-known as Elsa. Knowing eyes are always watching, Kiele has learned the little actions when she’s not the main focus are the most impactful.

Although theater and acting has meant a lot in her career, Kiele has also been involved in cheer for four years. She is able to follow routines with precision and sharpness. She has participated as a back spot for most stunts, but is able to base on occasion. Cheer kicks are one of her favorite things to do on the team, besides all the dances they learn. Kiele’s biggest takeaway from the cheer team is this: being on a team means being determined and not willing to give up when things get hard.

Kiele has done many smaller things, such as planning and speaking at the assemblies—giving her a different perspective on stage presence—being the dance captain for the lip sync battles, and taking voice lessons. All of these extracurriculars have shaped her into the performer she is today.
