Briauna McKizzie

Briauna Skye McKizzie is a Portland-based single mom, actor, filmmaker, and community organizer. As someone who has been touched in a myriad of different ways by depression and loss, in 2024, they decided to write a script that addresses grief and trauma in a healing-informed way. Their script, Killing Kyle, went into production in 2025 and is scheduled to release in 2026.

Most recently, Briauna also performed in a commercial for Multi-Care and also in a theatrical production of a new work by Kathleen Cahill. Additionally, in 2024, they received recognition as an emerging filmmaker in 2024 with their first micro-short film called “Suck.”

When not creating, Briauna can be found working on mixed media art projects, producing live community events, and dancing through life.
